Project Overview
I built my own practice rail and skis. It took many tries to get a pair of skis that were durable and light enough to be functional. Throughout the process, I made 5 different pairs and decided on one final pair.

Collaboration
During this process, I mostly had to work alone because no one had ever made "DIY" practice skis. Most of this process was trial and error where I had to correct all my mistakes. I did work with my local ski shop to get used bindings for the practice skis.
